Faults and Fixes isn’t a book. It’s a golf coaching manual.
Our founder got the idea from books he read as a kid. Remember the ones you used to read? Where you came to the end of the street and if you wanted to go left you would turn to page abc. Or if you wanted to go right you would turn to page xyz.
That’s exactly how Faults and Fixes works.
- Are you slicing the golf ball? Turn to Page 111
- Do you hit shots fat? Turn to Page 62
- Do you want to gain club head speed? Turn to Page 169
Jak Hamblett (The Author) has been a PGA Professional member since 2011. Starting his training in 2007.
He remembers coaching golfers in his early days thinking “wow, there could be dozens of reasons why this golfer is slicing the ball. If only there was a manual out there listing all the reasons why golfers slice. We could work through the list and determine which one is effecting this particular golfer the most.”
Jak actually starting making notes for such a book. But recollects thinking it would take 10 years to write such a detailed manual… In April 2020 The National lockdown hit. Stuck in the house for almost 18 months. Jak put pen to paper and…. By the time pandemic was out.
Faults and Fixes was born.
As of the time of writing (November 2021) Jak charges £55 per hour for a lesson. Normally giving the golfer 2/3 things to work on.
2/3 tips.
His book… Contains over 220 tips and can be purchased at the fraction of the cost of a lesson.
Offering advice not only on swing improvements, but also his view on why there is no “perfect swing” and why all golfers should try to achieve what he calls PIP:
“Perfect Impact Personally”
If you want more consistency this is a must buy.
If you want to take pressure off yourself it’s well worth a read.
You don’t just read this book and then put it on the shelf. Because it’s a coaching manual (and golfers swing faults inevitably creep in) you will be able to revert back to faults and fixes, for the rest of your golfing days.
An absolute bargain at £40!
